29th April 1942 - the York Blitz - Hawker Hurricane

My partner and I went into the city yesterday to do at bit of shopping and as a treat, a nice cup of tea and piece of cake. In St Sampson's Square, Yorkshire Air Museum had a World War II Free French Hawker Hurricane and a few enactors. Here are some photos taken with my partner's iphone.
